The Foundation

The following pictures were taken in The Foundation in 2014, but the neighborhood hasn’t changed much since 1967.

The first is of the house in which I grew up – and lent to Charlene – only in her day it didn’t have the tree in front or the addition on the right.

32b straightThe next two are of the apartment (actually they called these types of units “terraces”) in which a good friend of mine lived – and which I lent to the Valenti family.

Next is what used to be Woody’s Drugstore – and sadly is now a 7/11 with no comic book rack and benches or wooden phone booth.

The rest are random pictures of a lovely neighborhood.

Thank you for a lovely walk down “memory lane”. I recognize some of the residences, some I do not, only because time, and new landscapes have changed so many of the once familiar homes.
Thank you for including my family home in your collection of pictures.
